Hey Jan-

You're on your own with the rears if you want to keep the fender struts. I just mounted mine in one of the holes left once removed, see site. On the left signal, I had to cut the threaded stalk down due to rubbing the tire. It's tricky doing that without cutting the wires! But it's do-able.

An additional note about the fronts: I didn't know how to get the original signal brackets off without removing the forks and all. So I decided to use them. However, the new signal threaded stalks weren't long enough to clear the big original brackets. So I "custom" cut a bolt and connected both sides to each other with a nut. I was impressed at how well it worked. Just a tip: when you hack saw the bolts, keep the nut on so when you unwind the nut it properly threads the new end.
